Mater Shell Dining Chair

The Mater Shell Dining Chair is now introduced with a new and softer textile and leather upholstery version of the Mater Shell Chair designed by Michael Dreeben. The collaboration with Kvadrat is bringing a new softness and tactility to the collection, with handpicked and durable qualities making it suitable for both private and commercial decors. Together with Kvadrat, the most recognized textile supplier in Denmark, we have selected the most eco-friendly and sustainable fabrics that fits with Mater’s values and aesthetic. The leather upholstery is from the most recognized Danish leather supplier, Sorensen Leathers. Available in two leathers, an anthrazit black and rust coloured chrome-free aniline leather giving the material a beautiful and patinated look over time. A layer of foam is making the seating of the chair a more comfortable and soft experience. Other colours of leathers and textiles available for contract market. The frame is crafted in solid FSC certified oak with a choice of three different water-based stains; soaped, sirka grey and a black stain.
